Anyone want to help with a Suspension Install on my A4?
« on: May 19, 2007, 12:19:37 PM »
Anyone have space and tools to help me with a Suspension install on my A4? I am 80% confident in doing the install, but i don't really have the tools nor the space to do it properly. Plus having some help is always beneficial.

Anyone??

if you can do a week day, tuesday, wednesday, or thursday in the next 2 or 3 weeks, I might be able to help you out.

My schedule is a bit crazy....promised help to Pat first, and then a co-worker,I am doing her brakes...but outside of that, until June 7th, those week days work for me.

Eric, I though you weren't going to do this yet? Dangit! I want your COs :)I have NO time after next week to do my OT hours. So I'm not free on a weekday until after the 9th, but I MIGHT be able to push back my trip to after the 12th- if I can be convinced. I don't really want to do that though.

See if Randy or someone on Audi world will loan you their spring compressors. You need them for the front (and the rear) but you can't use them in the rear- won't fit.

You can get spring compressors from Checker and other auto parts stores. They just make you leave a deposit. Just an alternative if Randy can't loan his out.

JR - I am planning out a little ways. I am honestly thinking about 6-8 weeks out right now.

Jon -  I am so busy for the next 6-8 weeks right now anyways. But maybe in 6-8 weeks i will hit you up for a weekday suspension mod. The fronts are basically the same as pats B5, the rears are more of a biatch as we have to drop the subframe. But that is only 4 bolts.
