Welcome to the wonderful emotional rollercoaster known as VW ownership.

Without posting exactly what you have it;s hard to say, but I am assuming you have a 1.8T B5.5 Passat.

In terms of performance modifications and maintenance Colorado has a nicely growing scene. Our advertising partner Autobahn Premier Service is well adored by their customers, there is also SCR Performance up north in Loveland, as well as 3Zero3, RS Motorsports and Avalon Motorsports.

Randy of Autobahn Premier Service is also a 1.8T B5.5 owner and has done a tremendous job beefing up his Passat.

ha--yeah my baby is a 04 passat 1.8T...
thanks for the tips.
I will do a bit of research and a lot of work should be done here soon.

I know the warranty on the vdub is really easy to void. What do you recommend to get some xtra punch ?

Thanks for the fast response.

welcome.  2nd the vote for randy and todd to help out  they just did the stage III work on my allroad and I am loving it.

as for extra punch, a chip will do wonders to a 1.8T, but yes, your warranty will be at risk.  I waited until the warranty was up before doing my chip.

other than a chip, consider exhaust, or some handling mods - new wheels and tires will do wonders, as will sway bars and different spring.
