Saturday Aug 4th - Dyno Day
« on: July 20, 2007, 02:53:47 PM »
A few of the DZ guys are getting together on the 4th of August down at Mac for some Dyno time. If anybody is interested in joining us, the price should be $49 for three pulls.

We'll be working the first half of the day starting at 9am.
I'm hoping I can find a spare seat of someone's so I can get a baseline for the Mk2 VR since my seats SHOULD be at the upholstery shop by then. *crosses fingers*

Post up if'n you're interested!

I don't think that my little 8 valve GTI would even be able to spin the rollers, but you can borrow a MK2 seat or two if you'd like.

being that I work, and it is right next door to where I work, I might stop by (between night shifts).  What time are you getting there?  I just want to see the MK2 in person!!!!

Nice Jon! I'll be there probably first thing. I like hanging out and there are a couple cars there I'd like to see run.

one more thought, how late into the day are you guys planning on being there, then an associated question - Jay how fast can we put in 350 or so miles?  think we could get an early start on the ride then get back to get the S and allroad on the dyno in the mid to late afternoon?

Haha, that would be nuts. I am all for being there at for check in for the ride at 6:45, I still think we'd be hard pressed to make it back in time. We can always try.

Lets plan on the early start, but lets not push to get back for the dyno day if they are only going to be there for a half day.

and Jon good catch.  my reading comprehension is poor today.   :-[

Well, hell. I won't be there. I was just reminded that I'm going to be in Ohio that weekend. I'll still keep an eye on this thread and anybody who wants to commit to being there I'll get on the list.

Sorry Jon, here's a little teaser tho

Crap.  I just loaned my trailer to someone to go back to New York and pick up their Corrado.  So unless someone has a trailer I can borrow, I'm out. Dammit.
