Hey Rusty, let's see if we can organize something for Sunday dinner.  Put me down and I'll check with Jen to see if she wants to go too.

Cool.  Current count - Jay, You and Jen.  Y'all should decide amongst yourselves the best place and have us meet you there - preferably not too far off the Interstate or Toll Road path.

Rusty,
I'll check with the family and see if I cant get my crew out to make it for dinner.  Hopefully a kid friendly place.  If they cannot make it I'll do my best to get there.

Me, I'm out for sure. I'll be up in Breckenridge starting on the 29th and coming down again on the 5th.    :(

I'm working on a small feature film up there and a weeks worth of work is a great thing for me right now. Sorry I'll miss you Rusty, tell Gabe hi for me. I hope your trip is uneventful this time around. But hey, you got a new free flow cat out of the last trip to Cheyenne. What's it going to be this time around?      Drive safe.

Hey Rusty, some things have come up at work and now I am working nights for the next couple of weeks.  My weeks starts Sunday at 5pm, unfortunately, since I am helping out some Australian customers.

Do you want to try and get together Friday?  What is your schedule?  Anyone else open to changing to Friday?

We can do both days - Sunday would have to be dinner-ish, and Friday would have to be lunch-ish.  Whatever works is fine with us.  We're comin' through, and all aboard!!!

Me too!  The benefit of working nights is that I have all day Friday and Saturday off, so lemme know when you guy rool through... I'll arrange to hang with Pat and we'll meet you guy when you come through.

Pat, will the lunch Nazi's let you be flexible with your lunch time?

If I know what time we're going I can arrange ahead of time.  Otherwise I'm scheduled at noon.  If we can't plan on something firm a couple days ahead of time, I can see how busy we are at the time Rusty and Gabe get in and ask off at the last second.  If it happens that way, it's unlikely I'll be able to go, but still worth a shot.

Cool!  The only hitch might be if Gabe and I finish up early, we might go home on Thursday.  This is unlikely, but it could happen.  If so, I'll give you guys a heads up, and we'll just meet at noon on Thursday.  Otherwise, if it's not too much trouble, I'd like to plan for 11:15 on Friday - meeting at the decided place at 11:15.  You guys decide.

As for Sunday - between 6 and 7 pm - whoever's going to be there decide the place.  I'll call someone (Jay?) halfway to Denver to let you know whether it'll be closer to 6 or 7.  We're planning to leave at noon, so it should be about 6 barring unforseen circumstances, like my freakin' CAT separating from the turbo housing... 8O  :D

Alright, I have lunch Friday at 11:15.  Dub, you got any idea where we should go?  What about Garcia's just south of your place a block?

Well I just got a huge project dumped on to me so i am going to be hella busy the next few days.  I ams till planning on Sunday night, but I can't really find the time to figure out where to meet.  Alan, if you have an idea of a good easy to find place for us all to meet up D-Town I would be up for that.

We just need to make it easy for Rusty and Gabe to get there.  I'll keep checking back here, but I would feel bad if those guys call me Sunday evening and I have no idea where to go :).

I suggest the Wynkoop Brew Pub in LoDo.
It's easy to find (across the street from Union Station and from my office), has excellent food and a great selection of their own brews.

Directions: from I-70 exit 20th Street (make a right at lights after exit), turn right at lights onto Wazee St., turn right at second intersetion onto 18th St., and you're there! (the corner of 18th and Wynkoop St.).
There's plenty of pay parking lots around if the streets are full.

I recommend the parking agarge across the street from the Wynkoop,  I know they used to do validation.  It's also covered so it's a bonus.

I work next door to the parking garage and across the street from the Wynkoop, and on weekends I park in the spots in the alley between my building and the garage -- the security guard in my building checks on the parking outside and he's off on the weekends (but you can never be too sure, so don't take my word for it).
I don't like to park in that garage because the spaces are tight and I got my car scratched a couple times there.

OK, so on Sunday, the Wynkoop it is.  See you guys between 6 and 7, hoping for 6.  I'll give you a call on Sunday about 3 and let you know how we're doing time-wise.

Just heard from Rusty, he thinks they should reach Denver by 6:30, so the plan is to meet at teh Wynkoop at 6:30pm.

We had a great dinner and a few beers at the Wynkoop last night, I hope they made it to Wyoming as I-25 was closed up north. I know they went to aowhaus' offices to check the roads.

It was great seeing Rusty, Gabe and Alan.

As a reminder, they will be passing through again around lunch time on Friday for all those that were planning on meeting up with them.  I updated the calendar event to reflect this.
