Nothing like clean stuff for the car
« on: July 22, 2008, 08:19:05 PM »
In the middle of detailing the car, did the wheels and tires today, cleaned, waxed with Wheel Armor, then used some Nero on the tires.  They look awesome and the water just beads up on them now.  I will detail the outside next week in efforts to get ready for a MINI Cooper gathering at the beginning of August at Copper Mountain.  I also have started to re-do the engine bay parts.  more carbon fiber, cut access through the strut towers to I can more easily adjust camber, and as soon as I get more paint in I will be painting the white transmission mount body color.  Hope to have that done next week as the show/events start on the 6th of next month.  Nothing like a nice clean engine bay though....not bad for a 5 year old car :D

If cleanliness is close to godliness... I'm pretty sure you just one-up God.

here are some outside shots with the final setting of the coilovers.  Barely enough room to shove my pinky over the top of the tire...hehe.

It is a logo for a MINI club.  Motoring|Underground.

I just took it apart again, the paint arrived today, so I pulled the white transmission mount for paint.
