Test pipes = no cats at all. If you're turbo charged, power is there to be made with test pipes, otherwise it's a waste of time.
i agree with randy best mod i have done and to keep the cel off use 2 spark plug non-foulers and screw them together and drill out the top one with a 1/2 bit then screw in to the second 02 sensors bung then screw in 02 sensor and no more cel from not having a cat it work on my 01 and it has been 6+ months without a cel from the test pipe
thats what happens when i have been up 26+ hours, my mind wants to say one thing that makes sense but my fingers don't follow
JR, FWIW, I have custom 3" testpipe and it has never caused a CEL. Maybe there are other factors at play.
JR - I am running the ER 3"-->2.5" Testpipe that eventually leads to a 3" HFC (relocated down stream) that goes back my Milltek exhaust. the 3" from ER mounts up perfect. This wasn't the cheapest way to go, but it works well. Oh and i get no CEL's.
Yeah, I caught that above. What I can't get a straight answer on to simply put it: is the outlet on the K03 2.5" or 3". I was under the impression that the K04 was 3" but I'm running the K03 and tired of coming up with nothing on internet searches.
Why not call Randy or Todd and have them give you a measurement from one of the k03's they've got laying around?
They never answer the phone so I don't bother
