Need some photoshop help...
« on: November 26, 2007, 10:21:10 PM »
With the needed repairs to the car, I have received a 20AE BMP front (w/ lip) and rear bumper.  We've been talking about putting them on as they sit, but want to integrate the color into the rest of the car.  As such, we're thinking that a black stripe around the wheel wells on the vertical surface (~1") plus a black stripe down the side below the rub strip would look, well...racecarish...  Can someone with PS skills show me what that would look like?

A couple of images to play with...

Thanks!!

some front and side photos would be great for what you want.  I can attempt what you are looking for but not with those pictures.

No sweat, I actually like the look, especially since it is a purpose built race car, it might as well stand out.

Here ya are Ian, couple variations =)
Black is always a bit tricky.

I'm actually not super fond of the painted vertical facing on the wheel arches. It makes your car look taller, with more gap. *shrug* maybe it's just me though.

Those last two are awesome!!!  Thanks Andrew!  Megan wants me to keep a majority of the car green, but these look too cool!  Thanks sooo much!!  Megan would like to see the last one done on the side shot - would you mind doing that Andrew?  I truly appreciate it.

Now to find a paint shop sponsor ;)

I also like the last 2.  Can the one with the angled back half have a pin stripe like the last one.  that would be smokin.

the lower belt line one is HOT, and I like the pin stripe on the angled one...adds a hit of flash :).  now put the matching pin stripe on the front quarter panel above the bumper ;)

Oh, man, wow, Andrew, those are great!  Now it's between the angled one and the lower belt line one.  Just beautiful!!

I owe you a beer or six.

Think we're going to do this one  :) We're going to try vinyl if we can match it to the bumpers first.  If we can't get a match, off to the paint shop it will go!
