« on: November 30, 2007, 01:49:54 AM »
Has anyone replaced the air springs on an Allroad?
I was wondering if you need any special tools/ability... and how long it takes?
Thanks guys!

<begins knocking on the wooden desk as i type>
mine havent died yet.  when they do, I'll likely lose the airbag and the adjustability and will go to coil overs instead.  I'll probably get some ohlins from Stasis if I have the money to do so when that happens.

It is not too difficult, you just need to know how to reset the suspension with VAG-COM after you replace the bags.

Ok, Thanks Randy. I havent worked on the car yet so i was looking into worst case scenario stuff. The reseting of the ride height looks like it's not to difficult, well reading the Bentley manual anyways.

After i look at the car, soap the air springs / lines etc i'll let you know what i found.......and to possibly make her an appointment to come see you!! :D
