I was backing my GF's 2006 MazdaSpeed6 out of a tight spot in a parking garage when I heard a bone chilling crunch! I had backed it into a pole (it was hiding behind the C-pillar... that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!).

The damage is minor, but not easy on the eyes. The car is red and there are nasty streaks of white paint on the corner of the rear bumper. The taillight cover was broken, so I'm also looking for one of those - preferably without the entire "taillight assembly" which runs about $500 from the stealership.

My question for the RMCB5 collective is this: What is the best way to remove paint from paint? I need to get the fugly white streaks cleaned off this weekend.

I think claybar should remove those paint streaks.  good luck man.  that bites.

Finally got some pics up.

Before:

After lots of scrubbing with rubbing compound and Jon's buffer:

Only two big scratches in the paint, this is one:

Broken tail light:

Decided to follow the mantra: "don't just fix, UPGRADE!" and get some LEDs (on their way):
