MikeWire - MKIV 2000 Jetta GL
« on: December 24, 2007, 09:13:29 PM »
Hi all - my name is Mike and I was directed here by JR.  I've been lurking for a while and decided to join and post up.  I created a couple of VW/Audi/Euro websites and forums (see my sig) and I'm trying to help bring out the community up here in MT. With JR's help I think we could bridge the gap with all you CO dubbers, because it seems like the scene is huge down there.  Anyway, here I am:

Thanks guys - glad to be a part of your world  ;D  Our community seems to be growing ever so slowly, but I have literally done no other marketing other than basic SEO for the website, and 50 bigskyvw.com stickers.  I'm just about to get a bunch more cut, along with JR's suggestion of an "invite" card - that should boost subs.

I have some family in Castle Pines, so maybe I can make it down for a GTG this summer.  Maybe JR and I could do a road trip - he knows the territory better than I do.

I only wish that my Jetta could be as clean daily as it was for that show.  It's my daily driver and it just is about to turn 121K.  Only major thing I have done is replace the t-belt...so far  8)

Thanks for the compliments!

welcome.  My first VW was a new beetle 2.0.  I was actually happy with the power, did great in the mountains.  But then I found the wonder of the turbo, and it was all down hill from there. haha.

Car looks great.
