My Little Sister
« on: January 06, 2008, 01:23:26 PM »
Most of you know that my parent's adopted a 15yo girl in the summer of '06. They just did an article about it in today's paper:

Chance Meeting on Airplane Leads to Teen's Adoption

Pretty stinkin' cool! *beaming* My only comments are and have ever been that my immediate family feels complete now.

Thats a great story.  Huge kudos to your parents for such dedication to helping a stranger in need.

I live with them  :D So yeah, I do. In fact, the morning of the interview, I woke up at about 10:30 and shuffled in to the living with my cup of coffee in my sweats and t-shirt only to find my two nicely dressed parents, my little sister and some strange lady with a tape recorder and a notepad.

I mumbled some sort of greeting and went to make breakfast praying that I wouldn't be mentioned in the article.

Wow, an amazing story.  Your parents have a true heart of love and wish more in this world could be like them, including myself.  Amazing...
