I will be attending, and after the meet and greet going on a ~60 mile drive through the foothills. If anyone wants to come along, you're more than welcome.

bump.

theres too much snow around buena vista for me to try chinaman gulch.  (called the forrest service and they said 3-6 feet covering the trail.)

sooooo, I am thinking about going to this tomorrow.  Now the question is what to bring.   The Audi is down visiting Randy so that is out.  but the other cars are all euro's too.  so, what to bring???

If the weather holds out maybe I should get the BMW bike out.    ;D

There is a group of us South East folks meeting up at Arapahoe and Parker in front of the Chinese Theater. Will be gathering over by the Wells Fargo bank right in front of the theater at 12:15 to head out at 12:30 to meet up with the Arvada crew and caravan over.

it was a huge turnout! Erik counted 107 Euros, and ~ 5 or 6 other cars.

Here are the pics that have showed up so far. It was good to see you guys again!

I wish I could have gone to this, but my dub is in need of some work before it shows it's face anywhere.  It was a great day for a GTG.

looks like redline even caught one of my bike over on the vortex:

I havent had a chance to get the rest of the pics yet, or to pull mine off my camera.

just like they rotate days (one moth Saturday, the next Sunday, the next Saturday, etc.) they rotate locations so everyone has a chance to go. Next month they are probably gong to hold it at University and C-470. (don't hold me to it though ;))

That would be a bad location because of the construction on County Line Road, it is a total zoo.

I hadn't thought of that, but if you stay to the East of that area, I don't think it will be a problem.

I can't imagine anywhere over there that would be suitable if there is a turnout like the one this weekend. Which I obviously missed. :( I even got my car washed and everything. Just couldn't wrap up what I was doing in time to make it out there.

Maybe east like you mention, like Parker/Aurora or a little further West like Sante Fe and C-470? Everything else around these parts is too congested and the parking lots are like missile test ranges. :)

Once they finish the construction on County Line in May 2009 it will be a good area. The last part of that project is the University and County Line Road intersection which will be a big nasty mess.

I'm looking forward to the March GTG, it will be my first of the year if I am around! :P

Arapahoe Crossings would be awesome (where the SE group met up for the drive) Lots of space and Chili's, Old Chicago and Cold Stone all right there.

Who do we have to pay to get that location on the ballot???

:D
