JR's Birthday
« on: March 11, 2004, 12:34:30 AM »
Hello everyone!  This is JR's wife, and I'm posting this message to invite ya'll to JR's birthday celebration.  Yep, that's right.  It's the big 25.  Our car insurance will go down!!!   :)  So.  If you'd like to come, we'll be meeting at the Dave and Buster's on I 25 and Colorado at about 5 o'clock on Friday, March 19.  They have a great happy hour, car racing games, and JR and I will rent a pool table and shuffleboard table or something.  Oh, and by the way, I will be inviting some of my fun, single teacher friends. ;)
P.S. JR is really fun when he drinks!

JR - I'd love to come have a beer but that is my son's 6th Bday so I'll be tied up with Family on that day.  Have a great time.

Friday March 19th sounds like a plan.  So Tisha, how will we knoe when the Real JR responds.  Will he just think he was drinking and forgot he posted this?

I can't wait.  I hope to bring Jen too, if she is feeling well!

Thanks,
Winston

The REAL JR doesn't write nearly as well as I do.  :D That's how you'll know he's back.  Yes, bring Jen if she can come.  See you there!

I will be on Day 2.5 of the drunkfest.  I will do my best to be there, and be coherent.  Maybe I'll drag the whole crew along and we can all do shots! :)

Oh yeah Rob...SAMMY IS 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No way, I'm starting to feel old.

Happy early birthday!!!  Unfortunatly, I will not be able to go.  By the time Carla gets home from work it will be almost 9:00pm.  Turning 25 is cool, especially when it relates to insurance.   :D

JR and not wifey here...
Yeah, sorry, D&B is 21+ Sorry Greg, I get so used to old farts being in the club, Passats owners and all, that I forget those who aren't old and smelly
I'll buy you umm, well, dang, that's not going to work :?  I'll figure something out to make it up to you! ;)

Uberrgirly, unfortunately, the only single male in the English Department got snagged up at the beginning of the year by another singly lady in the department.
However, I did invite a buddy of mine from work and he seems to be inviting everyone he can :eh:
I have no idea who's going to show, but the count right now, is getting up there, so we'll see.
You all rock and make me feel really special    I don't know what to say

*edit* I get to open my gauges today... :wow: I'm stupid

Hey JR!  Happy almost 25!  I've been itching to see all you cats so I'll try to drag Scott out for a few celebratory cocktails.  When's your actual BD?  And are you positive it's only 21 and over?  I've had my kids there with me lots of times...maybe it's always been before 10 though?

Now im kinda curious as to how old everyone is. One of the moderators should post a poll on age 18-21 22-25 26-35 and so on, for my own personal amusement more than any thing.

Ill stop hijacking the thread now.

My actual birthday was yesterday (Tuesday)
I think if your kids are with you, you'd be okay...you should try to bring them, or at least call and ask.

I'm going to start drinking tonight, at the Rock Bottom in Westminster, just to prepare for tomorrow.. I want to make sure all my beer-processing mechanisms are sufficiently ready for tomorrow night. Plus, there are things that suck right now, and beer makes it all go away. ;)

JR, wish I could be there, but I will be workin, that makes me soooo sad that I am gonna miss this one.  Birthday celebrations are one of my favorite times.

have a good one...and if Tisha wants to send any of her hottie single teacher friends to the hospital to keep me company, I won't have any problems with that :sigh:  8-)
