Jay I really need to be there to work on the van or the bug but family matters keep me from being there.

Alan you always seem to bring very memorable food choices.  How about the chicken sates over at Winston's during your suspension install?  I can only imagine what those ribs will be like.  Damn I'm getting hungry thinking about it.

Have fun everyone.  I will at baseball!

Mmmmm! Just got home from a Roller Derby show at the Fillmore and a couple drinks at Williams (a local dive bar) and the ribs has been slowly simmering in beer and spices the whole time and it is looking (and smelling) awesome.  Now it is marinating in my spicy and sweet BBQ sauce.

Hope to see everyone tomorrow!

Glad to see everyone who made it. I took a few pictures late in the day so I'm sorry but no pictures of Mike (redline) and his car. :(

Alan brought his world famous ribs and three cars got detailed. Alan, Mike and Nate (kingtut).

Pat also took my car for a drive so I got to see how fast it really is. :)

Here are the pictures:

Also, I seem to have a chamois and a green wash mitt type thing. If you are missing either of these items let me know and we can find a time to meet up and get them back.

Sorry I didn't make it, just when I was leaving Parker it started snowing. Of course, almost immediately after I got home it stopped.

Cars look good!

Thanks Mike, it was nice to meet you too!...as well as everyone else! As much as I tend to babble, it's good to know I was finally able to make an appearance.  I was beginning to feel like a blogger or something-

Thanks to everybody for making me feel welcome.  I'm definitely looking forward to future gtg's. ;D

Regarding the detailing: I don't think the 'ol gerl has ever been so shiney!  As sunny as it was yesterday, I think I may have blinded a few people.

Thanks to Jon for the use of your PC!! I think I'm going to have to get my own for next time :)....and to Jay/Renee for the use of your home....and to Alan for his awesome ribs (and beerz)

That's my green A8.  It was clean until it got snowed on :-) ah well.  I'd figured on vacuuming it and spot cleaning the carpet to get some of the winter grunge out of it but did not get around to it.

Thanks for having me over!  Great snacks, ribs, etc. It was great to see the A4's and ur-S4 and the Disco II 4.6... and of course the new Benz.

it was great seeing everyone, the weather got a bit hairy later in the morning but at least it cleared up when we finished with our cars.

Jay, the chamois and wash mitt are mine, I have extras so I don't really need them back anytime soon but please feel free to use it in the meantime.

The next day I took some photos of my glass-smooth shiney car:

I opted to go clean up one of our local trails instead of cleaning my car.

So here is a quick picture of my "detailing" from Saturday.

But looking at all the clean cars makes me want to go detail the S4 now.

Jay - thanks for hosting this.  even though I could only stay for a few minutes, it was great to be able to swing by to see everyone.
