Stunning work Jon!
That before/after shot is pretty amazing. I wouldn't have believed it was the same car.

honestly, this is it for the interior, outside of upkeep over the years, touch ups, fixes, replacements...but I really like the final product this go around, very motorsports in feel.  I do plan on some alcantara Sparco seats in the future, then BBKs for the front and rear....then a complete repaint of the entire car, including having the vinyl stripes removed and painted on, then cleared....and having the lowers painted to match.  I am very happy with this compared to the ostrich phase, it was a cool idea, in my head anyway, but I was never 100% happy with how it turned out...but I am 100% happy with this set up now.  So, there you have it, it is here to stay, outside of upkeep.

Looks awesome Jon! I would love to help you photograph the interior, but the widest lens I have has a 36mm film equivalence. We can sure try though!

Just chiming in to agree with everyone- the car looks remarkable!  I'm glad I was able to see that bad boy fairly close to the finished product.  Besides NOT having the know-how to take on a project like that, Iím quite sure I wouldnít have had the patience that project required either.  Iím excited to see how your planned exterior mods turn out 8)

I am so down for that Mike.  We will have to figure out our schedules, with work, the only days I am free anymore are Wednesday and Thursdays.  Let me know how your school schedule turns out, maybe on break between terms or something.

The tan really adds some sophistication to the mini... I like it.  I usually don't like tan interiors and I have to say, I really like yours.   :-*

LOL, like Jay said, the tan is old, the blue and black, leather, alcantara and carbon fiber are new :) ;)

is there a smiley face with a foot in my mouth?   Yeah I need one.  The blue makes it look racier.

I feel stupid... I'm going to school.

Jack, you have an excuse, you are in school, so that drains all your observation energy :).  Only you get that excuse though, everyone else should put their foot in their mouth for thinking I went from the blue/black to tan, haha.

it is funny... because all along I kept seeing pictures of the tan interior (previous posts, etc) and have been thinking you were going tan... not my taste, but I'm going to support other peoples personal tastes...  It is just funny that for all this time I have been thinking, "what are you doing jon... tan?"... glad to see I was wrong.

I loved the stock tan interior, but your new interior is awesome.
Great work, the workmanship is stunning.  Too bad I just missed you last Saturday morning at Jay's house.  Can't wait to see it in person.
