vwotg - so, who's going?
« on: May 08, 2008, 04:35:45 PM »
I mean, I am. I know there's stuff, and stuff. But whatever.
Anybody else planning on showing?

It'd be nice to roll down there together. I figure I'll be heading down 6th to Wadsworth to get there and I live near 6th and Federal.

I will be there, just like last year. I'll probably bring the dog again too.

I'll be there since I missed last year.

Jay find me out there as I know I still owe you some money and I would like to finally pay up and will add some interest to it for taking so long.

I totally forgot about it.  When it is?  My car is in no condition to go however, but I might take it anyway and bring the boys.  It's about time they saw some VAG shows.

I found it.  Wow, Clement Park.  That would be a great place for it.  Was it there last year?  Was it big enough?

Haha, don't get too excited Dub. The show does fine there, it is on the street inside the park grounds. If you were to show, there is no exit until after the awards, so if you're bringing the boys I would plan on just parking in the spectator lot which is over at Columbine High School.

It has been there the last few years. What time are you guys all thinking about heading down, we could plan on meeting up.

Well I'd like to get there sometime between 9-10am. I guess the gates close for showing at 11am, but i don't want to be there at 7:30.

Maybe we could meet up for a cuppa coffee somewhere near 6th and Wads?

anybody who wants to roll down together give me a call.

I'll be leaving around nine from my place.

Anybody else who goes, stop by and say hi, I'll be in the green mk2 golf under the blue tent.

Jay f'd up and didn't get there in time. Well, by the time I was able to go it was after 2pm so I realized it wasn't going to be worth trying to get there.

I am pretty disappointed I didn't go, I really wanted to see the cars and the people. Now I have to wait until August :(.

Good! Cars were really jammed in there so no tent for my car. I had cars on all four sides for the first part.

As always, a good collection of air cooled stuff out there. It's always fun to see what those guys do.

There are some pics on the Vortex from the show:
