Hey Andrew, look into the "Nitto Terra Grapplers", they come in OEM sizes, well priced. I have run them for a season and like them alot. Quite on the highway and great in snow...just a thought

put my stockers back with all season's back on, just in case i get the itch to drive it...  my TDR's are put away till maybe next april.  hoping by then i can swap my FK452's for new set of star specs.

i do need to swing by the home depot to get a few 60# bags of sand for my truck.

You just gotta keep on livin', man. L-I-V-I-N...

Just picked up my snow tires from Tire Source yesterday.

If I have time I may put them on today, either than or next Friday.

Need to put the snows on my wife's car too, and search Craigslist for snows for the Jeep.

The Eurovan has a set of Hakkas that I'll switch over when we get that first snow.

Christy's NBC is getting new Falken 912 all seasons tomorrow.  They had good reviews and the price for the 17's was really nice.  Will give feedback once I get some miles on them.

I switched the snows on 3 of our cars today.  the process seemed to take forever including needing to clean the winter rover rims before putting them on.  (they were nasty as purchased from the previous owner).  then also needed to clean the summer rims from all 3 vehicles before storing them.

now we are definitely ready for snow.

as for the rover, this should be a huge improvement.  last winter these "all seasons" sucked:

now it will be on studded Nokian Hakka 5's.

they should have some grip:

Andrew - Those will make a world of difference.  Did you go to Meadow Creek for the Hakka's?

I hope so.

I did not go to meadow creek - I have a friend that works for 4wheelparts.  he was able to get me a hookup with a better price than Meadow Creek offered.

i don't switch tires any more i bought a 2001 camry for winter time driving it is not as much fun but a lot cheaper to fix and it doesn't hurt the pride as much if it is broken
