I was exchanging glances and thumbs up with Midnight Blue R32 today at lunch on Kipling in Lakewood.  That is one sweet car.

As for a 550 Hp R32 - I am not about to go there, it is tough to make car payments from Jail

Me too.  Doh!  and I was wrong; it's actually 550hp.

They are planning a 600hp stage III engine for this puppy too.  Unbelieveable.

Bleh, there are tons of cars that could spank my S4 :( But I still love it! Now if I had maybe 20 grand to throw into it .... hrmmmmm, I bet I could get close to that horsepower.... maybe!!

:D Dont worry Jonathan I have the same dream as you do, one day ill win the power ball and ill have my MKIV raceing street bikes and all kinds of other sillyness.

But I dont have the self controll to handle a car like that right now like I said above, I would have a 12 pointer with in 48 hours. :D    But what fun.

Good to see you exercising self control - or in this case drivers licence preservation.

Having riden in an R32 this past weekend, I must say that even in stock form, the car was still pretty stable and peppy.  We had 5 adults in the car, and it still had some get-up and get.  Braking was amazing with all of that momentum.  I wouldnt mind having one, thats for sure.  And if VW does decide to put a new VR6 motor into the upcoming Passat, its mine to be had and a twin kit will be installed.   8)
