I got this link from http://www.ls2.com a performance site for GM LS1/LS2/LS6 powered cars like the Camaro, Corvette, Firebird, GTO, etc...

Anyway, just wanted to throw up some support for a crazy ordeal.  Sometimes crazy stuff like this happens and you need to step back and ask yourself if you're dreaming.

It seems as though stupidity can have a snowball affect where once it gets going, its amazing how dumb people can be.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that we all feel for ya.  It doesnt matter what type of car you have, if you love it, its painful when crap like this happens.

Linking from http://board.accordtuner.com.  Man that was some crazy stuff happening.  I know I would have flipped out on them all if that happened to me.  You've got good self-restraint and a good head on your shoulders man.  I'm glad to hear that it all worked out for you!  I'm putting electrical tape on my VIN today if it's not already covered by my speaker grill!!!!

clubgp.com support here!

Good way to handle things, and glad to see an officer support someone.  Can I make a suggestion to write the police department, and give a kind word on the officer who helped you, but not the one on the phone

And the next time your apartment lease is up, I would move.  Thats just plain crazy.  I belive the law where I live is that the repo company must first attempt to make contact with you before they actually take the car.  Stupid in a way, but would resolve errors like this.

Good job on making the right moves!

Hi from WichitaRacing.com!!

I feel your pain. My parents "bought" me a car when I graduated high school ('01 Trans Am WS6). Well after a few months they decided to make me pay for the payments (so much for the "gift"). Then all of a sudden my mother didn't trust me to make the payment (I wasn't anywhere on the loan) so I had to give the money to her. See where this is heading? She didn't make the payment, she used to money for her own enjoyment and the car got repoed out from under me. My fiancee (now husband) and I went to the bank to buy the car and they wouldn't let us do it because my mother was the one it had been repoed from. However, they didn't have a leg to stand on since I hadn't been anywhere on the loan or had anything to do with it. They finally said ok but you'll have to do this and this and this. That included a $4,000 down payment. My fiancee without blinking threw his credit card on the desk and said "Let's do it". The look on the bank owner's face was so funny!!!

I definitely agree with Dale.  Write that officer a big thanks, he stuck in there with you through this.  Also I think we need to hook up with your lawyer and take him out.  Have you kept him and your dad up to date on the explosion of this thread?

I also have to say one last thing: Kudos for keeping company and individual names out of this.  Anger can quickly lead to irrational thinking and ultimately regret.
If it ain't broke, take it apart and fix it!

My parents are on holaday so I havent been able to tell them what has been going on because they havent called since they left like 2 weeks ago.
As for my lawer he is not one for going out at all, so he sugusted that I cook dinner for him and his family.(witch is no problem for me because he has 2 cute daughters and I was a culinary arts major for 2 years, I know my way around the kitchen)

When I called my lawyer the first time he said right off the bat that if I talked to anyone about this to not include any names what so ever, especially online. For fear of being sued for slander or something along those lines. witch is exelent advice.

The record for the farthest away site is somewhere in europe, im just waiting to get an email in russian.

That's funny, [removed for legal reasons] does not show up on a search on the Colorado Bar Association. As far as lawyers go, the only [removed for legal reasons] I know is fictional, he's the Fresh Prince's uncle.

Well, Im another B5'er from www.clubb5.com and wanted to say congrats to you for keeping your cool.

Im going to be surfin around this board every now and then, like the format.  Ill pop in and see what progress you have.  so keep us posted and glad to see that you were able to settle outside of court.  That stuff just takes alot more time to handle when its not really even needed to take things like this and draw them out.

Congrats, and glad that all is well.
