You guys have fun. I will have to join you all next time. I wanted to go, but i had to send my deposit to the fishing lodge in Alaska this week.  Which puts a damper on my spending for a few months..:(

Golfie boy, you can ride shotgun with me under two conditions. You will keep me supplied with cold refreshing brew of my choice, and you will vigorously pump the supplemental turbo charging system installed in passenger seat consisting of bicycle pump connected to intake manifold. Deal?

Boris man, I will accept your 2 conditions if you accept these 2 conditions.
1. Your beverage of choice not be a sissy one, lets rember I have a reputation to uphold. I cant be seen in random New Mexico gas stations buying a sissy drink.
2. You allow my pet monkey, Lupo to come along to work your bicycle pump turbo.
If you can live with these 2 conditions, I can live with your 2 conditions and we have a deal.

Didn't get a hold of my friend yet, but I am pretty sure I am going unless something huge and drastic happens ;) Will probably leave Friday sometime late morning ish, and come back after the fun on Sunday.  LMK if you want a ride, might not be as fun as Pat and Amanda   , or Boris (I hear from some that he is quite the speed demon! ;)).  Just got the summer tires back on, I guess I don't have the winter tire excuse anymore  :P

Hey Rusty, I noticed that your post on the top of page 2 still showed me as a maybe.  I am a definite for coming and a spectator for the track day.  Though I could be talked into being a co-pilot for video for someone.

Thanks for the reminder, Dave - I've updated the list.

For everyone: Bring your swimsuit - there's some natural hot springs on the Sunday drive through the Jemez.  For the track, bring comfortable folding chairs; and I have a canopy, but an extra one would be great.

Oh Pat just thought of something. you would probly have to take the chairs back for me... Im going to cab to the airport sunday night and hop a plane monday morning. They probly wont let me check a couple folding lawn chairs.

Chair update for you Pat: I managed to find 2 of these chairs that fold into thier own little cases, the cases are MIA but we can make it work. And I also have one of the old school lawn chairs that fold flat, that one is not as space freindly. :D  I think that they have at least one more of those chairs that fold into a bag though, now that I think about it. :D

Jonathan

Oh, and finally got a hold of my friend from Roswell, dunno if I am gonna have time to see her and her family, but there is a chance her husband's baseball team may be at "State" up in Albuquerque that same weekend :)

I think everyone plans on staying at Rusty's.  I'm not sure about that, but I know at least Greg, Amanda and I plan on it.

Golfie, so you are flying? What, afraid to ride with me?

I have some lawn chairs, but I need to find them first. I am crashing at Rusty's.

Boris man- Iím excited to ride with you actually. The plane tickets are from Albuquerque to Sedona Arizona. Ill be spending a week playing golf and sipping cocktails so ill fly out of Albuquerque on Sunday night after the GTG.

Also what time were you leaving for Albuquerque? I have that whole week off so it doesnít really matter, but I was just curious. I think that most are leaveing mid morning on friday.

Rusty,
Will there be a place near the track to buy some 100-octane or similar?

There's no place near the track.  There is a place downtown, we could probably fill up on Friday.  I'll check their hours and see what we can do.

Jonathan, you are welcome to stay at my place, but you'll be on the floor or in a tent...

I assume downtown isn't more than 20 or so miles from the track?

Your assumption is correct - that's why I need to check their hours - the driver's meeting will be at 7:30 Sat morning.

I'll have to hook up with you in L.A.  I'd love to drive back up to Denver but I don't have the $$$ or the vacation time.
