Guess What I Saw...

8O At a closing speed of about 160 mph on Highway 9 just outside of Kremling on Sunday…

2005 A6 – Silverstone Grey

I think I pulled something in my neck trying to see it as we passed each other.  What a great looking car.  I was not too sure about the big grill, but now that I have seen it for myself – I am sold

This is probably the same one I have been seeing around here at work.  They have been testing the cars out here.  There is also a Blue one that I have seen with this grey one.

Since we are listing amazing sights.  I saw a late model Dodge Durango with the front grill modified with four fog lights mounted on the top and bottom.  I looked harder at the middle of the grill and to my amazment, I saw an Audi emblem.  Go figure.
If it ain't broke, take it apart and fix it!

Has anyone ever heard of a BMW 850i, I saw one on the interstate in the springs today, I had never heard of such a thing. I was trying to provoke him to slap a gear or two with me but he wouldent have anything of it. I wanted to know how quick it was.  I thought that the  7 series was as high as the model numbers went. From what I saw of the body it looked to be mid nintys or so, that would be my best guess.

Any info would be cool.

The 8 Series was short lived in the US because of it;s high up front and maintenance costs for a coupe.  The 840i was a 8cylinder and the 850i was a 12 cylinder.  Still very sought after models.  You can pick one up with about 100K miles for about $25 - $30K, maybe less.

A very rare and distinguishable car to have.  Good luck finding a mechanic though on the 850, not a lot of BMW 12 cylinder mechanics out there.

Lot's of sweet rides at the Avs playoff game tonight.  Just about anything you could name although I was fond of the S8 sitting in the lot.

If it goes to game 5 or 7 I might be able to use some of those tickets but game 2 is already given to some customers.  If i can go again I'll call you so i can buy you a cold coors!
