I think that I have decided on debadeing my rear emblems. The GOLF and the 1.8T are attached with adheasive but im not sure about the VW emblem in the middle, I checked the chiltons manual but it dosent go into detail on badgeing. So does any one have any idea on how that center VW emblem is attached? I cant really tell by looking, I tryed to pry it up a little but I would hate to have it snap off and leave a hole in my rear gate.

There's no hole in mine...as you know I swapped them out with my engine cover badge...
It was just adhesive holding it on the trunk. Mine removed leaves my trunk with a round indentation where the badge goes...no biggie
