So i am looking for advice on some codes i pulled from an RS6........


Control Module Part Number: 4D1 907 558 D

9 Faults Found:

16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

        P0300 - 008 - Implausible Signal

16685 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected

        P0301 - 008 - Implausible Signal

16688 - Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected

        P0304 - 008 - Implausible Signal

16687 - Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected

        P0303 - 008 - Implausible Signal

16691 - Cylinder 7 Misfire Detected

        P0307 - 008 - Implausible Signal

16686 - Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected

        P0302 - 008 - Implausible Signal

17887 - Brake Boost Vacuum System: Mechanical Failure

        P1479 - 008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
17544 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Lean

        P1136 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded
17546 - Fuel Trim: Bank 2 (Add): System too Lean

        P1138 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded

forgot to mention.......drove the car and dos'ent seem to have any hesitation...idles smooth......no transmission codes......brakes are great........

scared the life out of me even with "misfires".....

did someone do a timing belt on the car and get the timing off?  so many misfires, wonder if that is an issue, either that or a failing coilpack/distributer system?

just spoke to Randy at AutoBahn..........love those guys!......and he has an idea that there is a huge vacuum leak.......my friends calling him on monday to make an appointment.........
