Cool Blog about driving 365 different cars
« on: July 16, 2009, 07:03:24 PM »
A friend of mine has begun quite a challenge and is writing a blog about it.  Her goal is to drive 365 different cars in one year.  She started just after the 4th of July and it is going well.

I have offered her the opportunity to drive my car one day.  I think I have her drooling over a couple project cars we are working on I might let her drive as well.  She is a professional driver, so I have confidence in her skills behind the wheel.

If you would like to follow along here is a link to the blog.

If she is interested she could drive the allroad (and or the disco too) for that.

Cool idea! She can drive the Coupe if she wants. Should be a bit more fun after the 425# rear coils go on this weekend  ;D

I talked with her on Saturday and let her know there are volunteers here willing to let her drive their cars.  I told her to check this thread and let me know if any offers peaked her interest.

I just spoke with Lea and she may be headed down here later this week.  I know she signed up here so she can decide what she wants to drive.  I will be happy to help coordinate if needed.

Hello! Thanks go to kraut-sled aka Randy for posting this here. I will be down in the Denver area the second half of the week through Sunday night.
If it's ok, I'll take a look at the cars here and contact you! Feel free to keep adding more...as I'm only getting started and this goes for a whole year!!!
Also, great news! I have some interest from one of the news wires down there for an interview, I'll let you know how that goes! :)
More...will be at various track events through the end of the summer. Hope to see you there!

PS-03Indigo...you posted while I was writing in. Friday sounds good. Shoot me your number and I'll give a call! Thanks in advance!

First off welcome and thanks for signing up! This is such a cool thing to do.

If you will be here for the weekend I can make something work if you are interested. I will need to do some work on the Scout this weekend as I am taking it to RMIHR the following weekend, otherwise the UrS4 and the BMW should be totally available.

I know Adele Arakawa at 9news.com races I'm not sure if that's your news source but would be worthy of dropping a line to.

.....an idea for you.  There is the "Cars & Coffee" Denver event every Saturday in Southlands.  Great place to find a drive in some very unique rides.  I have seen stuff from 1930 to 2010 there.

Met with Lea today, she made me giggle driving the blue MINI through the round-a-bouts :D.  Can't wait to see what she does with the brown MINI, hehe.

Haha, Okay here is what is currently in the garage with 4 wheels (several 2 wheeled toys too).

2008 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited. (slightly modified)

1986 Porsche 951

1974 Chevy 1 ton Crew Cab. Way too many mods to list, but if you can point out the obvious one that only the true Chevy truck enthusiasts would pick up on I'll buy you lunch!!

...and FWIW it has a LS6 454 in it.

...and a C5 A6 Avant..... ;D
