Intermittent turn signal
« on: July 23, 2009, 06:10:42 PM »
Last couple days my turn signals have been wonky.. Sometimes they work fine, sometimes they don't work at all, sometimes they work then stop working.. Has never happened to me before. Any ideas? Oh, I have a 2002 S4 sedan. Thanks for any help or insights you may have.

It could be a bad signal stock (lever you use to activate it) or a loose/bad connection somewhere.  Just one idea.

Maybe your hazzard light relay is going bad?  I think I remember that being a fairly common problem with VAG products.

I vote the relay as well.

Agree with the relay issue.  I had a very similar issue with my Passat and it was the relay.

Good luck with it.

90% chance it is the relay in the hazard switch
10% chance it is the multi-function switch

I hope for your sake it is the relay.  The multi-function switch is a PITA to replace.
