Heard the car sold, I'm sure it's bitttersweet.

Yeah, it did sell.  I'm happy it is going to a local enthusiast, Josh Wyte.

Of course, as I am heading over to where we were meeting up, I realized the wipers were waaaaaaaay overdue for changing.  I felt bad about that as Josh was driving us down c-470.  That was actually the first time I had ever been a passenger in that car.

Hey Tom, here's an avant for ya:

http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/1590984420.html ;)

Josh, I did my windshield through Elite/Safelite last summer and it was about $300 installed. That was with the tinted top and the antenna in the glass. They have to replace the seal so it adds to the cost.

FWIW, I heard they had mag chlorided the hell out of 470 yesterday which makes it so even good wipers do nothing.

Yep, it was all slushy and wonderful on 470 yesterday.  I've got a patient who does auto glass, so he's going to replace it for me.  Has to wait for the temps to go over 40 degrees before he can do it though.

Ian, still getting the 944 turbo, the S4 will be my daily driver.  Just made the shipping arrangements for the Porsche, should be showing up in a few weeks!

ANDREW!!!!! Don't even think about it!

just starting to think about it.  only if I find the right buyer though.  Definitely not in a hurry to sell.  my challenge though it that since the rover has taken over kid hauling, skiing, and bad weather driving duty, then the allroad is merely the "fun" car.   and despite all the fun that it is, there are other toys that might be more fun.
