We need a GTG thats not on a weekend...
« on: April 07, 2010, 04:15:15 PM »
I've been trying to get to one of these things for the past few months.
I work sat and sun so I need some variance.

I'd be happy to host but I'm in Idaho Springs and I doubt many of you are up to driving up the hill...
I'd love to meet some new people since I've only been in the state for 4 months.
especially ones with such a common interest.

Any ideas on a thing?

As the temps warm up a weekday GTG can definitely happen. Usually if it's during the week we will meet up for Burgers n Beers or something like that. I'm kinda  screwed until mid to late may because of work demands.

We just did a lunch at Smash Burger last week (tuesday 3/30).  It was great.  Probably do one late this month or early next month.

Hope you can make one.

The best way to make things happen is pick a day, time, place and throw it out there.  We are good about saying if we can be there or not.

BTW, I saw an add for the Mammoth (Lacrosse), $39: 4 tickets, 4 dogs, 4 beers.  That is a good deal, $10+ each (tax).  This would be a fun thing to do and get beers/drinks afterward, maybe at Old C's (I think the games are at Pepsi Center)

That sounds cool. Ive never seen lacrosse played before.
I have a bar in mind already, too...
