I have been off in my own little world as of late, sorry I have not posted in a bit.   I did see a faux paus in b5 form today that shocked me back to b5 land, a riced out b5 complete with opossum launchin exhaust and a big ass speed racer wing on it.  I have been preparing for the big time summer project.  The wife has an 89 cabriolet that she loves.  Well we are planning to gut a 1.8t gti that has been totalled and put the engine and tranny in her cabrio..I have connections at a denver vw junkyard and they are going to help me out.  And I am in the process of choosing a stand alone engine management system.  When we finish it should be one hell of a sleeper.  Needless to say this summer will be busy.  How is everyone else?

Sweet jebus, Mike!  That will be a great addition to the Cabrio.  The 1.8t engine should go in every VW from MKI to MKIV IMO...

I can't wait to see it when it is done!

That's what I like to hear.  Keep us up to date on it.  Sounds like fun!
