New to the group -Black 1.8T GTI
« on: May 03, 2004, 09:50:20 PM »
It was f'n great hanging out with you cats on Saturday at the garage day. You've got a rocking group of enthusiasts together and I look forward to any and all future events you see fit to invite me to.

Thank you for all your kind words and for sharing your input on my very small but somehow very time-consuming TT-Vent project.

A big Thank You to Jon for hosting the event and opening his home and...neighbor's yard.

My GTI...
2003 1.8T GTI

Factory Goodies:
Leather Seats
Cold Weather Package
Luxury Package
ESP

OEM Add-Ons:
New Beetle Sunglasses Holder
Blue Tinted Side Mirrors
R32 OEM Aluminum Interior Trim (on its way from Germany now...)
- Driver/Passenger Door Pulls
- Driver/Passenger Door Handles
- Center Console
- Ash Tray Cover
VW Sharon Antenna
VW Lupo GTI Grille Badge
VW Black Grille Badge
VW Black Rear Lid Badge
Audi TT Fender Vent
Removed 1.8T & GTI Badges from Rear Lid

Non-OEM Add-Ons:
Smoked Bumper Turn Signals
Smoked Side Markers
K&N Drop-In filter
OZ Supperleggra 18"x8" Wheels
Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 - 225/40/18

I've got lots of Go-Fast(er) Goodies in mind as well, but at 4,500miles I'm holding off til at least the first oil change/service before I start setting fire to various parts of my warranty.

I don't have any "glamour shots" done yet but perhaps soon!
Take care all, and thank you all again.

I think we met briefly a few weeks ago at the lil GTG at the Blake Street Tavern? Anyway, either way I look forward to meeting you again.

Cheers!

Glad to see you on board, Andy.  Kiss all of that money you are saving up goodbye!

It's more than a fair trade off though, since it will bring you much happiness, just not much savings... :-D
