They stopped making the GLI in the VR6. You can only get it now in the 1.8T. (I got the last one in the state :D )

The VW site isn't wrong. 2004 was the last production year for the VR6 GLI.

Now if you can score an '04 body kit for it and that thing would be P-I-M-P!!!!!!!
Title: Rawr, Rawr, Rawr, Here's the New Car...(pics added)
Post by: jayryan on November 23, 2004, 07:28:11 AM
I can score an '04 body kit...the whole thing'd be about $400, however, Tish doesn't want that right now which is cool.
I got the 100K extended warranty on it as well as lifetime oil changes :P so I won't be doing a whole lot of modding on it. She really loves it the way it is which is fine by me. I will probably take out the resonator at some point though.

Nice job JR! That should be a lot of fun for her and you now that the Passat is all yours.

Now please, don't ever drive that rolling pile of crap called a Mazda again. Call someone and have them come a pick it up. The donation will be worth more in the long run than trying to sell it for the couple hundred dollars that you could get for it. And a huge savings of time not dealing with the type of people that would be interested in buying that car.

Oh, and where are my brake tools?
