Title: 2 Things: Dolly and Carpet
Post by: jayryan on January 13, 2006, 11:07:07 AM
Who's got the appliance dolly? Can I borrow it??

And what's the rec for carpet pricing and installation. We need new rug but don't want to give up my first-born.

Thanks!

I have it, yes you can borrow it.

for carpet figure on $15-20 per yard (per 9 sq ft)  for good stuff with a good pad.  Install can double that.

I have a dolly, it's one of those tall handled two wheelie deals (it doesn't have a large wide platform).

Do you need a rug or wall to wall carpeting?  And how large?
There are many places that sell carpet remnants really cheap (leftovers from installation jobs) that are good for small rooms or you could have the edges finished with cotton webbing and make it into an area rug.
Carpet rolls typically come 12' wide.

No man, we're talking wall to wall full install on the carpet. Eh. Tish found a pretty good deal at lowe's but install we're not sure of yet.

Andrew, I know you're on  Are you going to be around today? Or down towards this way maybe???
