Title: New Goodies
Post by: KevB on January 14, 2006, 12:21:10 AM
Well I got lucky that Jack began parting out his GTI and I was able to get some parts for cheap.  I picked up the lower front stress bar, rear stress bar, and 28mm Neuspeed rear sway for $170.  Just waiting on some hardware on the sway bar, then everyting will be installed.

Thanks Randy for the stress bar installs.  The rear stress bar makes a big difference in the squeks and rattles in the rear of the car.

Yeah, the my car is making hideous noises now.  there is this thump in the back.

It is really making me sad seeing my car like this.  Once I get rid of it and get a new car that will all go away.

I am just glad that mainly locals got the hook ups.  Once randy calls me I will figure out when I can get to his shop to get those 2 bolts off.

Congrats Kevin, I'm glad you're happy with the new stuff. This was definitely fortuitous timing on Jack's part-out. Ahem, I'm SERIOUSLY enjoying the parts I was able to get from him.

I know how it must feel to go through this but, BIG THANKS AGAIN JACK!!!

From me too!  I installed the brace last night and it looks awesome.  I just wish I had more money to buy more of your parts
