Looks really good.

- on your test pipe/etc.   I knew a guy that had a TDI Golf and he just did a straight pipe... it sounded amazing... not too loud surprisingly.  Turbo spool noise was beautiful.... the only negative was just the black smoke when he accelerated.

-GIAC is making a chip for the new TDIs, maybe once they are happy with that, they might make it for older TDIs too.

your car looks so sharp.

Thanks :)

I wish I would have done a straight pipe it would have saved me $200 on the exhaust.  The problem with the 2004-2005 Passat TDi is that they have a diesel particulate filter (DPF) that is part of the cat and it pretty much eliminates the sound from the engine.  Diesel engines are naturally much quieter then gasoline engines with no mufflers.  My goal is to hear the turbo spool like your friends golf. I heard one last week and I thought that was the coolest thing ever :)

ditto.  I wish I could have duplicated that sound for my GTI.
