Title: The new whip... with the old whip....
Post by: DeathMoJo on August 18, 2007, 03:23:25 PM
So, i picked up a 1991 GTI - 5 speed with a VR6 swapped in from a local club member.  Some of you are probably pretty familar with this car, it was Dieter's before Kevin bought it and then i bought it off him.  I'm pretty sure im the 5th or 6th owner of the car, haha.  The '91 GTI will be the daily/winter/project car.  Its on coilovers and i have a different set of wheels for the winter for it.  Anyway here are pics of both GTI's.

Nice addition. Hard to believe it's a "beater."

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Haha, for sure.  That is why i didn't call it the "beater"  Its a blast to drive and dare i say, more fun than my MKV.  It will stay just the way it is now, going to put a new gril on it and just keep her in great shape.
