Title: Canopy for DATR?
Post by: 34k on August 22, 2007, 01:12:01 PM
I was thinking about picking up a 10x10 canopy type thing. Provide some shade for the car and a couple chairs not to mention some shelter in the unlikely event of another random hail storm. :-X

For those that have these things, should i get some sacks o' sand or something to keep it planted on the pavement? Seems like a safe choice, and maybe a rhetorical type of question.

Given DATR's weather history, mebbe 55 gallon drums of concrete are in order  ;).  Though, yeah, you will want some bags of sand at the corners.

Most don't have big feet, so the sack would need to be pliable. You could also do some gallon water jugs and some string to help weight it down.
