Title: CV/ odd noise
Post by: Weominghic on September 24, 2007, 08:22:52 AM
unlike Jayryan,  my noise happens when i turn there is a large pop noise,  sounds almost like the spring is rotating but it's not that also my alignment has gone way out of whack.  i think it could be the CV or the bearings or something in the steering.  i have no clue

pull off your wheels and see if you have that nasty grease everywhere, if not, then take it in to have it evaluated for a bad cv joint....that would be my first guess.

I'd also bet a broken CV.  could also be worn control arm bushings.
