Title: Hey-hay-hay-hay
Post by: Kingtut on January 09, 2008, 09:43:38 AM
Hey everyone, my name is Nate.  I drive a silver 01 A4 1.8TQM; had it for about a year now.  Had an '87 Quattro 4000CS, and LOVED it, so here I am again ;D

Not much of a gear-head- In fact, I'm pretty much useless when it comes to DIY's, but something tells me Randy doesn't mind ;) As such, no big mods planned but I would like to chip it at the very least.  Just need to take care of some other issues first.  My brother has a B6 4motion, so I've got to keep up with him somehow!

I had lurked around on AudiForums for awhile, but I got tired of their inflated/dillusional sense of self worth and bad attitudes.

I doubt I'll be able to contribute much to this forum, besides adding to a conversation here and there.  More so, I plan on learning from everyone's own experiences and vast knowledge.

Thanks for having me!

Welcome!  I think you'll find that there is a good balance of car discussion and off-topic discussion, so you should be able to find ways to contribute.  If not, just start posting random thoughts - you could be JR in training  :o ;D

Welcome Nate!

This forum is by far the most friendly on the web.  Well except when I go on rants about various things, but that has not happen for a while.  Maybe it is time.....

Randy

Perhaps you could go on a rant about people not knowing what they're doing putting a young lady's life at risk ;)

Thanks for the replies everyone...

What's up Randy!  Yea, from what I've seen, this looks like a great place.  I thought I was the king of going off on rants, but I may be wrong....I guess we'll see.  I had to cut my intro short for fear of boring everyone!  I'll be calling you in the next couple of weeks...she needs some more TLC!

Also, on a side note, I hear (after the fact) that my wife called and bugged Todd around Christmas time- wanting to know if you guys had gift certificates- haha, too funny.  I told her "thanks for making me look like an idiot, I do that just fine on my own". Her heart was in the right place though, as much as she hates that car she knows I love it...
