Title: so, 75w90 used as motor oil is bad?????? OMG!

they should make some basic knowledge of how your car works required for ownership.  This is just sad:

I may not be the most car inclined person and have had some bad things happen to my car  but this made me laugh... what an idiot  ???

..well I asked the mechanic if he put the tranny fluid in and he said no, that he put Royal Purple motor oil...and if you do remember correctly, you'll remember that my question was about transmission fluid...and If I could use the 75w90 on the rear diff and you said yes...which is why I bought 5 qts...but how would I expect you to believe me when I already caused all this ruckus for a confusion...an appointment??...I didn't schedule one...though I should to check what really went wrong with my engine...can I call or do I have to do it in person??...and I just remembered that I don't have warranty a letter came a while back to inform me that my warranty is out and I had the choice to renew it...and I didn't...I shoud've...crap! ...the warranty still wouldn't have worked...

Still it sounds like the kid is clueless and maybe he spun a bearing just beating on the car.  If it'd run low on oil or starved the valvetrain due to too-thick oil it probably would have seized the cams before spinning a bearing.  Who knows?  very classy forum though, yuck.
