hey all my 2000 a4 just hit 59000 miles and i wanna get my timing belt changed, within the next 5k miles to be safe. i dont like in colorado but im sure you all are familiar. what cost am i looking at if i take it to the shop, not necessarly the dealership.

just had mine done at 107000 an dit ran me a grand for timing belt, water pump and all the other belts

Had mine done at 70k at McDonald for 850.00.  They told me it was the "timing belt package" which included water pump, tensioners, etc.  Come to find out, they didn't even do the thermostat ???...

I'm sure Autobahn is competetive and you'll have the piece of mind that quality work is being done, instead of the "lube shop" techs you'll find elsewhere-
