stupid audis and their reliance on premium gas! Although... the difference between a tank of regular and premium is usually <$4. But STILL!

That's what I figure too!  At first I'm like, damn this need for premium fuel....then a second later, I'm like I can afford the extra two dollars or so  :-\ what the heck am I gripping about-  ...I'm waiting to see a five spot per gallon, then things will start getting interesting :D

I guess we all have our points. $4 was mine. It finally hit the pocketbook so I'm doing the pedal commute the rest of the summer. Good for the body and easy on the wallet. I can carpool this winter.

Although I will have to drive, it's the knowledge that the prices probably aren't going to go down that's causing me to re-evaluate my overall lifestyle :) Do I really need the things I think I need to have or do.

...sorry, I guess it's more philosophical than where this was gong :P ;D

Actually paid $4.01/gal yesterday for premium for the Audi. Paid $4.83/gal earlier this week for deisel for the wifes car. Oh well, not much i can do about it right now.

I have been riding the Ducati to work anyways. So it isn't so bad at 55-60mpg on the bike. Every other day i stop and put 2-2.5gal in the tank.  :)

Hey Josh, now that you have been E85 for a little while, what are you actually achieving in MPGs? I know you are running a specific tune right? So it's not like these flex fuel vehicles that auto compensate for the different fuels and have significant drop offs in MPG.

I paid $4.19/gal at a Shell station for premimium last weekend.
I'm sure gas prices were more expensive lately because of the long weekend.
