Title: RMCB5 trail run
Post by: Colorado_Baja on July 29, 2008, 07:25:23 AM
I'm about to have my Commando together and road worthy. Once I get a couple miles on it around town I would like to take it on a little trail run to see how it does, nothing too serious since I have no gas tank skid at the moment, but shake it down and see what bugs surface...

Anyone care to join me? It will probably be a week or three, so we can work out the when and where in the mean time.

I'd probably be up for it. The Scout should be ready to wheel, but I do need to go over it pretty well as I still haven't had time to check everything out since I got it back.

Let me know what trail(s) you are considering and something pretty mild is fine by me.

I can probably go.

weekend of Aug 23rd is probably out though.  the guys over at frontrange4x4.com are having a trail clean up and I am gonna try to make that.

If you guys wanna come along and help chop up an old abandoned bronco, then sign up for the clean up day.

How about Big Elk Meadows area on the way to Estes from Lyons. Fun trails pretty mild really.
