Eli - Welcome.

Now do yourself a favor and get a hold of Jay Gietl and make him an offer on his Passat. :P   You will thank yourself later.

Either way it is good to have more people join :)

Hey Eli,

I am all too familiar with Fort Morgan when we competed against y'all in high school (Niwot, class of '91). Not sure what you guys put in your water, but you white boys can run fast (Kent Kahl, Lance Schwint (sp?), etc.)!  You should take your ZX2 to Second Creek Raceway. I bet it would do well on the road course.

I might just do that. I want to take it to as many tracks as possible just to see what it can do in what ever i might need it to do.

Oh and i will pass on the passat i like my car. It may not be the fastest or the most popular ot anything at that but it origonal. You dont see very many of them with performance parts on em and that is why i like it.

Welcom Eli

On occasion we have some guys that have the SVT foci (is that the multiple of focus? :-D ) That join us on the track.  I bet they would like to see your little coupe doing what it can do, isn't that where they bred the Focus from , the Escort ZX2?

again, welcome
cheers

Seeing a fleet of Passat and Audi's on the track is always a thrill.  Just starting to get competitive in the AutoCross world, Ive come to appreciated what the Passat can really do.  For being such a boat, so to speak, it handles quite well.  Go ahead and buy Jay's Passat, you wont look back on it at all.
