Welcome to Rocky Mountain Club B5!
Rocky Mountain Club B5 (RMCB5) is the premier Volkswagen and Audi Enthusiast Club in the Rocky Mountain Region. We have members from Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Montana and Arizona. Offering information on maintenance, mechanics, modifications, parts and service as well as descriptive how-to's, a photo gallery and much much more. Rocky Mountain Club B5 welcomes any auto enthusiast though the collective knowledge is primarily focused around the Audi and Volkswagen brands.
Where does the name come from? Our roots are in the B5 Platform Volkswagen Passat built from 1997 until 2005. Rocky Mountain Club B5 was created as way for regional owners from sites like ClubB5.com and PassatWorld.com could get together and interact at a more local level.
Founded in 2002 Rocky Mountain Club B5 has witnessed the growth of the local enthusiast community as well as many new members each year. While the cars may change, the people are what makes this club one of the most respected in the region. We'd love to have you as a member to share in the knowledge contained within the community.

This year marks the return of Dub’Cember, Euro Car GTG and Toy Drive! Since 2005 Dub’Cember has been the biggest and only true Euro car enthusiast’s toy drive to benefit the Children’s Hospital. This event started in a parking lot, and we found out it needed to be relocated in 2006 due to the support and amount of enthusiasts that attended in 2005. In 2006 Fat City in Littleton became the new location of Dub’Cember. Fat City offered food, bowling arcade and many other indoor activates to add to the lure of helping the less fortunate children in need. 2007 was also at Fat City and proved to be a great venue for this event that was growing in size each year. In 2008, Fat City was under new ownership and was renamed to Mr. Biggs and for the next two years provced to be the best location for this event. Even with a snowy and cold Sunday afternoon in 2009; however that did not stop us from collecting the largest load of toys to date. Well, now the funplex is yet again under new ownership and is called Fun City! We are proud to announce that Dub’Cember and Fun City have teamed up! Sunday December 4 th, starting at 11am; join the MetroDubs crew and any automobile enthusiasts in helping the Children’s Hospital collect toys and give hope and enjoyment to the children in need. PLACE: Fun City, 9670 West Coal Mine Avenue, Littleton, CO 80123-4004 DATE: Sunday, December 4th, 2011TIME: ( GTG) 11:00am ( Bowling and indoor activities) 1:00pm Fun City will be offering the attendees discounted rates on Bowling. Get your team of 5 people and see who has the best bowlers in the Euro scene! $27.95 Per Lane / Per Hour; Minimum 2 Hour Lane Rental. Up to five people per lane: Includes Shoe Rental. That is just over $11 per person! I am also working out details on go-karting, laser tag and other indoor activities. Look for updated post soon. But in the meantime; please visit http://funcitycolorado.com/ for more information on location and other events and activities Fun City has to offer. We hope to see EVERYONE there; remember, this is for the children in need. This is a "snow" or shine event!

Seems lots of folks are trying to use XRumer to spam SMF based forums and certainly others. We have a two step registration system that I recently set to requiring admin approval. I just rejected 300 registrations from the last week.
Once there is a better way to settle this down or if they just go away I will re-enable it. If you are looking to register on this site, well I'm not sure what to say. I don't plan on posting any contact information, but if you find something that looks like it feel free to contact me and we can get you registered. This site is basically just around for it's past content.

Well, in keeping the new fresh ideas rolling; we decided to reinvent the Summer Solstice BBQ and Drive. This year we are going to drive first then relax with fellow dubbers, friends, and families for a nice BBQ in the park. We have broken this down into two parts. Of course your entire family is invited, even the dog! Heck, we do not even care if you are in this club, that club or no club; just come on out and have fun with like-minded enthusiasts! After all; isn’t this what it is all about? Date: June 25th, 2011 The DriveTime: 11:00am Location: Starbucks, 7403 West Chatfield Littleton, CO Description: Every Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche and all other Euro cars are invited to participate in a nice mountain cruise. We will be driving up some twisties to take in the scenery and enjoy the beautiful landscape and fresh mountain air Colorado has to offer. Safe and courteous driving is what we are looking for. We know there will be roadside traffic on the entire route, so we want to be safe and still fun. We are going to meet in the parking lot just west of Starbucks. There is a Conoco station close and it is easy to get back on Wadsworth to start the drive up the foothills. The BBQTime: 3:00pm Location: Lasley Park, 1401 S. Kendall St., Lakewood, CO Description: Every car, driver and passenger that wants to join us at the park for the BBQ is invited. If you were on the drive or not!! MetroDubs.com will provide the burgers, brats, and buns. Please help out and bring side dishes, condiments, plates, napkins and drinks. We will grill up the food and have some good old fashioned fun. BYOB (Consumption of alcohol (other than beer) without an Alcohol Permit is prohibited) Amenities: Picnic Shelters, BBQ Grills, Playground, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, Tennis Court, Walking Paths, & Restrooms.

WusteRallye 2011"Look Mama, No Drama!" The Official WusteRallye 2011 will be bigger and better than last year. Its not just a drive this year!! WusteRallye 2011 is just that. A DagBall styled rally that it's only intent was, and is, to bring the Colorado scene closer. Not have one club, or another, draw a line and divide the scene. That is not what any of us want. I am trying to get all the Colorado based cars to join in on this NO CLUB affiliated drive from Denver to Las Vegas for Wuste2011... Here is the break down. Just like the last 2 years.... 1) We will be leaving Thursday June 2nd bright and early in the morning. - meet at the Einstein Bros Bagels at 6:00am (we have secured a 15% discount on your tab) 14401 West Colfax Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80401- Get on the road no later than 7:00am - I-70 W and I-15 S - 753 mi 11 hours 50 mins - we will take about a 30 min "pit stop" every 250 miles give or take. 2) Arrive at Las Vegas. - check in and unload the cars. - some will wash cars, some will start drinking!! go from there. Pics from WusteRallye 2010 VWVortex event coverage 2010 I have been hearing from every side of the coin, “Why are there two or several drives headed to the same place?” I am also confused on this matter. However, I have listened and I feel there is a great solution. Lets all forget about the clubs!! The only way to move forward is to put aside what ever petty differences there might be and just join up and roll together. For crying out loud, this is about cars, not personal egos. Just like the main event, Wuste2011, this rallye is for everyone, no matter who or what. So, I am personally extending an invitation to Chad and the VW Union members, along with Rocky Mountain B5, Audizine, DubZentrum, Edition 719, DCI, and whatever other club is there to join forces and go out to Vegas as one big group. I want people to join this drive if you are NOT part of any club. Why can't we all be a part of a huge group of “This is what Colorado has to offer” or something a bit more catchy.. Let us all be hopeful that every car club and group will just blur the lines and just merge into one great big caravan to Wuste. Show support for this effort. Lets hear your voice!! stop the drama... Who is on board for a drama free, free cost and free fun on a great drive to a great event?? Lets all sit down, redefine WusteRallye, and try to get a game plan that is equally enjoyable for every VW, Audi, and Euro headed to Wuste2011!!! other rally's for reference. http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...NJ-gt-gt-gt-FLhttp://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...l-photo-thread!!
